In Matthew 9:27–34, two blind men recognize Jesus as the promised Son of David, while the religious leaders fail to see who He truly is. Through the healing of these men and the deliverance of a demon-oppressed man, we see that Jesus is both a powerful King and a merciful Savior.

This sermon reminds us that genuine faith is not about having enough belief to get what we want, but trusting in the authority, compassion, and goodness of Jesus. His miracles reveal His identity and point toward the ultimate restoration of His Kingdom.

We are challenged to move beyond simply being amazed by Jesus to living in obedience to Him. We can bring our helplessness before Christ, trust His wisdom even in suffering, and submit to His authority in every area of life.

Faith recognizes Jesus not merely as the King whose power we want, but as the King whose authority we gladly follow.
